The 140 year old Lodge has been superbly restored and refurbished to its original splendor with high Yellowwood ceiling, Oregon pine floors and spacious rooms providing a stately, yet homely feeling.

The large well-equipped farmhouse kitchen, with a gas and Agga stove, is the place where everybody congregates and shares their wildlife experiences.

The attractive dining room with specially designed Outeniqua Yellowwood and Ironwood furniture seats 16 people.

The indoor pub is continually stocked and guarantees to provide many a jovial evening.

This quiet environment is the ideal setting for a conference without disturbance where equipment such as an overhead projector and flipchart are provided, as well as access to fax and internet facilities while you are in cellphone range.

Each of the 5 elegant double bedrooms is well furnished with en-suite bathroom and toilet facilities. For the ultimate luxury the main bedroom even has its own Jacuzzi and fireplace. A safe is also provided in each room for security purposes.

The originally designed reed and stone open air Lapa with log fire provides the perfect surroundings to experience a typical South African braai or a chance to enjoy the clarity of the stars in this unpolluted sky while listening to the sounds of the night.
